This made me feel girly!

I really like brightly colored mini jumpers, they just look very cutesy and almost doll like.
When you wear a bright jumper like this it's key to make the rest of your outfit neutral.
A classic bun is a nice way to highlight your neckline. And the black top is actually a leotard, which is great because you don't have to worry about it getting out of place or feeling bulky!
I feel like I'm going through fashion time travel! Yesterday I had a 70s thing going on and today this is more 60s, maybe my next post will be inspired by the 50s;)

It's beginning to look a lot like Halloween!

Thankfully the sun came out today! Just in time for my niece and me to decorate cupcakes and do all sorts of fun Halloween things!(Her birthday is tomorrow, she'll be 5!). In fact we decorated the front porch so I thought it would be the perfect place for my blog pictures today!
You can't really see in these pictures all the decorating we did but you get the idea!
I absolutely love unique knits! I'm not sure if you can tell but this crocheted hot pink top is actually a summer top but I think it fits well, and it adds that pop of color!
I love this sweater! I would wear it everywhere if I could! And would you believe it I got it for $3 at Rainbow! While Rainbow doesn't have the best service they do have great sales!
This whole look reminds me of the 70s, especially my faded, slightly flared jeans:)
                                                  Just felt spooky:)Boooooooooooooooo!!!!

Don't let the rain get you down......you can always wear your cute rain boots!

Seeing as it's been raining today I decided to wear my rain boots. Seems appropriate doesn't it?

Who says you can't wear floral in the fall? It instantly lifts not only your look but your spirits too!
Here you'll see that it's not actually a poncho over my dress but a cleverly tied scarf!
See my earrings? They're flowers too:)
Rain-gear never looked so cheery:)
                                                                   I love this song:)

I also dream in plaid...

Hello again!!! Now I know I named this Robyn dreams in lace, but as you can see from my first post and this one as well. I also have a love affair with plaid. Who doesn't these days? It's definitely one of my favorite patterns for fall.

Now here's a great way to wear a plaid skirt without looking like a school-girl. The graphic tee has just the right tones to really make this look come together and give it that casual girly feel.
Not only do black tights go with everything, they also elongate and slim your legs. And the 30s style hat is the perfect touch to make you look polished. Heels don't hurt either;)

Oh I almost forgot! The back of my sweater has lace:)
I  heard this song in the grocery store today, it's always been one of my favorites, he wrote it when he was 16:)

Hello, it's me....

Well if you're reading you know this is my first blog!!! At least on this one that is. I already have another blog, which again if you're reading this you've probably read my other blog, By Ivy Nor. While that blog is all about my writing at the moment I thought I would explore something a little different with this one, fashion. I hesitate to say fashion, mainly because I don't see myself as a fashion blogger, I guess the word intimates me. But truthfully fashion is a part of our everyday lives, and it's pretty extraordinary how a simple piece of clothing can be used by so many different kinds of people. Imagine where we would be without the invention of underwear. Scary thought, huh? I don't intend to invent something as life-changing as underwear though, I just want to share with people my inspirations and opinions just like I do with my writing. So let me get started!
Here I paired a strapless plaid summer dress with a white v-neck sweater and a brown belt with delicate cut-outs and my brown slouchy boots(which I LOVE! They're so comfortable, I wear them with everything. I got them at Target last year).
Here's the full-length shot. Sorry you can't see the boots completely. This outfit really makes me think of fall and sipping apple cider. Yum!

Oh goodie! You can see them in this one!
I'll leave you with this song by Dan Fogelberg, one of my favorite artists, it's poignantly beautiful.
